Social commitment

At Pesca, we strongly believe in giving back to the community. Through our Pesca redonne donation and social engagement program, we are committed to supporting initiatives that aim to improve the quality of life of our citizens. In 2025, 37 organizations in the region that saw the company’s birth, Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine, received support from Pesca. All Pescadians  were mobilized to choose the organizations to which they wanted the Pesca donation to be distributed, in addition to having the possibility of improving the donation. An innovative way for Pesca to continue its involvement in its environment by mobilizing its staff.

We also place great importance on the mental and physical well-being of our employees and their families. As an employer, we adopt a posture of openness, listening, inclusiveness and flexibility towards our staff. We foster human and personal relationships to support everyone in their quest for work-life balance. In addition, a social committee has recently been established to strengthen the ties that unite our employees and foster a harmonious and supportive working environment. Social activities, but also community involvement, are planned during the year, allowing our employees to make a positive difference in their environment.

Finally, our consulting services are designed to support our clients in making the best decisions for their projects. We strive to minimize negative impacts and maximize positive outcomes, with a focus on sustainability and social responsibility. Our goal is to create solutions that benefit both our customers and the community as a whole.

In 2024, Sylvain Castonguay, General Manager at Pesca, granted an interview to this effect to Radio-Canada.
